Father's Day Blessing

Today is both the Summer Solstice and Father's Day. It is an auspicious day to honor the divine nature of fatherhood. I offer this blessing for all fathers today.

Blessing for All Fathers

Today, we honor the fathers who have walked beside us and all who have carried the sacred role of fathering.

We give thanks for the gifts of fatherhood at its best: strength with kindness, protection with encouragement and playfulness, wisdom with humility, and steadfast love.

We offer compassion and forgiveness for the times when these ideals could not be fully embodied.

Today, with the sun at its highest and strongest, we offer a blessing to all fathers. May every father who has passed be held in peace and light. May every father still among us be blessed with joy and fulfillment.

And may love flow through the generations to heal, strengthen, and guide us all in the light.
